"go ask alice" is an older book from an anonymous writer. it's actually a compilation of entries from a diary of a teen girl who experiments with drugs and becomes addicted to them.
i read it in jr high a long time ago. it was pretty interesting...

Go Ask Alice is one of the better ones. There is one that is a true story " And I don't want to live this life" by Nancy Spungen- She was the girlfriend of Sid Vicious (Lead singer from the "Sex Pistols") If really follows the downward spiral into the drug world.

This is funny because I read one of the girl's responses and it was go ask alice, and I just got done this very second reading it. I know many books you could get, the following are my top favorites:
Smashed (this involves alcohol though, not drugs, but is my absoluete favorite book in the world), Smack, Go ask Alice, and Paint it black.

Go ask Alice. It is a diary of a real girl in the 70's. It was really good, I read it when I was a teen. It's an anonymous author.

Go ask Alice is a good book I liked it... She dies though after she said she was stopping of any over dose.
