I have friends who have been kissed but I haven't, and I'm OK with that, but I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks.

It totally depends. Some girls get their first kiss when they're 10, some when they're 18. It just matters that they're ready, and its not something they're doing just for the sake of a first kiss.

I was 14. Almost all my friends and acquaintences had kissed by that age so I kissed a guy I didn't even like in that way just so that I could make sure I didn't reach 16 and had never been kissed.
I definitely think someone should be over the age of 13.

Time is relative, first kisses are usually awkward. I was 9 when I got my first real kiss and years before I got another one.
Playing in the schoolyard, unprovoked, Little Patricia hit me in the head with her metal lunch box. The blood was flowing.
Just as quick, she pushed me up against the fence and laid one on me. She knew what she was doing.
If I wasn't so hurt , I may have responded differently, being hurt , I let her lead the way, great kiss. Didn't get another like that for 5 more years.
Your life is ahead of you, you have time , enjoy your youth.

sweet sixteen is perfect - plenty of anticipation but maturity enough to not giggle all the way through it. =)
But everyone is different, and doing it early or late doesn't make you weird. I've known people who got their first kiss anywhere between 12 to 18. Do it only when it feels right to you, forget what everyone else says.
