If "bigger" equals swollen, then ice, elevation and compression can bring down the swelling. Apply ice for 15 minutes then remove it. Keep the leg elevated..above your hips...when you can sit down. Compression is usually done with an elastic wrap of some kind like an ace bandage. HOWEVER, before you treat the problem you need to think about what is causing it. OK, now for what caused the swelling...get to a doctor. Swelling happens in response to injury or disease. And only a doctor can discern which and how best to treat it before it becomes a real problem.

Having one limb bigger then the other is normal as long as it isn't swollen. This goes for arms, breasts (for women) and ears. If it feels funny it is because you are probably going through growth pains, depending on how old you are. I have a 4 year old and she says her legs hurt... I took her to the doctor and he said that she was going through what every child till around 20 or so will go through growth pains. Not everyone goes through these growth pains till 20 but he said that it has been known to happen till that age. I hope that helped, Good Luck!!!

it's probably fluid retention.
or it could have something to do with a lymph node.

You need to ask a Dr.
