YES! It's veryy normal! You shouldn't have sex until you are married. It's much more special that way, and you'll have more fun. ;)

There is nothing wrong with still being a virgin. However, being a virgin because you think sex is something dirty is kind of sad. Sex can be a wonderful thing between two people who are in love. Of course, sometimes it is even better when it is dirty and the two people aren't in love. But that's a different story.

Always do what makes you happy and do it because you want to. If you aren't ready for whatever reason then you should wait. I think it and you are very normal.

First I want to commend you on being a virgin. That is so awesome. BUT, you sound like you are doing it for the wrong reason. If you think sex is dirty then you might want to talk to a professional about it. Sex can be a beautiful experience and if you don't get some help then you might not be able to experience it in a good way. If you have sex with the feelings you have, you probally won't be able to enjoy yourself. Your head will get in the way. So I would suggest going to see a counselor and change your belief system. Sex is not a bad, dirty or wrong thing.

Good for you! I was 22 when I lost mine, and I was glad I waited until I was with the man I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.

I don't know what church you're talking about, but most Christian denominations (other than maybe Catholic) aren't anti-sex, per se. They do, however, take a rather dim view of casual sex and of sex outside of marriage. Sex in a committed, loving relationship is actually a good thing - even most churches would agree!

There is so much more to sex than just the physical act. I think people who approach sex from a "recreational" point of view are missing out on the whole point. Don't lose your virginity just to get it over with; wait for the right person.

If you really think sex is 'very dirty', it won't be any good for you anyway. Talk to a counselor about that, because otherwise you won't be everything you can be: for yourself or for your partner.

Good luck!

You don`t know what your missing. Yes sex can be a good thing if it`s done right and with the right person. Not to say that the church isn`t right but you tell me that everybody that goes to church doesn`t have sex. God forgives you for your sins and if sex is a sin then he has forgiven me multiple times. Just go with your heart on this and don`t feel you have to rush in but like I said you don`t know what you missing. Nothing like it on this earth!!! And if you have been to 3rd base then imagine what it feels like to go all the way with it. There are things you won`t like and there are things that you will love done to you . But go with your heart and when it happens and it`s the right person there is no better feeling in this world than having sex with someone you love.

I have a number of friends in their late 20s and early 30s who are still virgins also. Don't sweat it, honey. It's so much better to hold off til you're ready, than to have baggage over decisions you regret. But to be ready, you may want to educate yourself, and start to develop a well-informed, sex-positive attitude. By the way - God is very much pro-sex!!! Why else would he have given women clitorises?

Sex is not dirty, but is best enjoyed with someone you love and loves you. By the way don't be embarrassed, my girls are 20 AND 21 and are still virgins. I'm sure there are a lot of girls who are.

Nina, there is nothing dirty about sex, that's just the ridiculous notions of the church. It's a shame that they can brainwash people with silly ideas like that.

Having sex is perfectly normal, and you do not have to wait until marriage.

relax. first of all the church says and does lots of things to make you think being a human is sinful and they are wrong. jesus won't hate you for makin' some love. and god won't send you to burn in hell for all eternity for giving some nice boy a *******. you'll figure it out but you should try to get out and meet some people that have had different upbringings to help ease your mind. i grew up in a house where my father went to chuch but my mom did not. and it was never an issue that way. i've always ahd an understanding of religion and because of the resaerch i've done i was able to decide that i think it all bull sh--. not that you should deny you beliefs! go to church, worship and do what you will. but also make sure to get out and explore humanity and all it has to offer you. there's alot of different people in the world and the church tends to prevent you from know how the rest of the world thinks and works.

Enjoy it. You are still young, and you have plenty of time to find that special someone to share yourself with. Just don't lose it because you think it's a bad thing, because these days being a virgin isn't bad, with all the diseases that are out there. Good for you!
