Honestly I do not but I am very biased! I was adopted into my family and my natural mother could have had an abortion and if she would have I would not be alive! I know there are medical reasons that people have abortions and I can see the reason for them, but for those people who just do not want to have children right then or dont want to be bothered there are alternate choices! I just think tha tif you are adult enough to make a child then you should be adult enough to make a decision to either keep the child or have the child placed in a loving home with people who are not able to conceive children themselves! Please do not think that I am one of those people who say you should put your life at risk to have a child! If there are medicals reasons to abort a child then I do not believe that it should be held against a person! I believe that abortion has its place, but for the most part I am pro-life!

I do. I'm not going to push my personal feelings on anyone else. It's the woman's decision. Not mine. Not some old politicians. It's hers. I can't possibly know what it would mean for these people to have a baby, but I do know that the decision to not have one is agonizing for everyone.

I'm an ob nurse. I send babies home with people daily who simply do not deserve to be parents. In the past four years, three of the babies i've delivered are dead, having been beating and shaken, and one thrown down the stairs. Three more managed to survive, but have such severe brain damage that they will never be anything more than a baby. And one little girl was held down by her mother while her mother's boyfriend brutally raped her. She had a hysterectomy. She's 4 years old. Would she have been better off to have never been born? I'm sorry, but I can't help but think so.

I don't believe in abortion but I also do not believe in surgeries, unless they are necessary. I do think that women who have been raped or have a less than a 10% chance for survival from carrying or birthing a child, should at least have a decision in whether she can have it or not. The rape issue or molestation should also be their choice and I think those two should be the only choices available for abortions.

I think abortion should not be a form of birth control, someone who decides not to use protection and just has a abortion because it is the easy way out is wrong to do so. There are cases where abortion in my eyes is ok, for example if you get raped and then find out the rape got you pregnant then I agree that abortion is the best thing to do. It just really depends on the situation.

Yes - it's real.
Do I support it? That depends on the reason someone is having it done. If it is a life or death case for the woman carrying that child, then yes, I believe she should have the right to protect her own life. If my daughter was raped and did not want to keep that child, I would support her decision - not influence it, just support it. If my daughter were to come to me for advice concerning an unwanted pregnancy as a result of consentual sex I would NOT recommend abortion. If she could not care for and raise the baby then I would.
That is what pro-choice means to me.

I believe that the majority of human beings born, if raised properly & taught to use their full potential, can contribute greatly to the lives of the rest of us.

I strongly feel that if all the aborted babies, would have been born & brought up this way, we may already have a cure for things like the toughest forms of cancer & aids, and that we may have solutions to many other problems we face today. The brain power of these individuals may have given us these gifts, if only they had been given life & taught to use their skills & talents.

Therefore I feel that supporting abortion hurts all of us in the long run.

I don't "believe" in abortion. But I do believe in a womens right to choose what to do with her body, and with her life. I think the choice to have an abortion would be extremely tough for anyone, and that person would have to spend the rest of their life living with that choice, however, I am not God, and I don't have the right to act like God and tell someone else what to feel, what to believe, or what to choose. We are all intitled to our opinions, that is what America is all about. This is just my opinion.

If society lets the fathers of these babies get away from their responsibilities, then I have no choice but to say that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Until boys and men take responsibilities also since it takes two to make a baby, then the rights to decide to keep remains with the woman...unless of course the man wants the baby,...then he can ask her if she consents to staying pregnant. I doubt though that boys and men will ever do that.

Some VERY stupid people get pregnant....Leading to some very stupid kids that grow into stupid adults....that have stupid kids. Now if there was a way to stop that cycle wouldn't that be a good thing? If little Miss crack-head wanted an abortion, is that so bad? Ever one bitches that its wrong but I don't see them adopting....Or paying my tax bill to support these people.

Think about this.

Do you think the world can sustain an unlimited population of humans?

If you answered no, then are you for forced sterilization?
No?

Then how pray-tel would you control population growth? Wish it away?

I HATE abortion and think it is morally wrong....But it's a necessary evil...Like getting root-canals or a colon cancer screening.

I used to think that abortion was a woman's decision, ONLY in a rape case, I know that I would not want to have a baby of this nature. But if the woman is pregnant she can always give that baby for adoption later, now a days there are all kinds of institutions that help pregnant women. If this was my case I would definitely have the baby and give it up for adoption.
