OK. So, I'm the big loser. A university student who hasn't had sex. Thing is, I was in a committed relationship for a few years and my girlfriend wanted to wait until we were married.
Now that we are apart, I almost feel like obliged to sleep with someone as a, kind of, reward for being so patient with my ex.
On a scale of 1 to 10 - where 1 represents kickin' back without sex until I have a serious girlfriend and 10 represents going out tonight and jumping into bed with the first hottie who is available ... where should I be on this scale?

Absolutely NOT. You've waited this long don't throw away all the precious time. You have something that very few people have, and can never get. Anytime you want, you could be like anyone else, in that matter, but those of us that have made that mistake (sex before marriage) can never be like you. Cherish your discipline and tenacity. Don't throw it away. Someday, maybe even very soon you are gonna make your wonderful woman so thankful she found you. And then when you two get married, it will be the best time of your life. You will have all you honor, dignity, and no guilt or remorse. I admire you man, for being an honest to God REAL man. I wish I would have saved myself. Sex before marriage, is not all it's made out to be, mostly it's gross and disappointing. But making love to your beautiful wife, now that's what is was created for!

Sex is a great thing and it can also be a curse. Make sure that if you are going to have casual sex you sould have safe sex and make sure the girl you are sleeping with knows it will be casual and nothing serious. Sex is special but nothing is special when you're going to bed with the one you truly love and disappoint her on your first try. Go out and experiment, trust me your future gf will not mine that you are expirienced. I'm in my early twenties and nothing turns me off more than a guy that can't please. I say you should go for it 10!

on the scale i think a 2 because think of the std's out there if you dont have safe sex and think of the person that you dont know very well that you might just jump into having sex with, she might be syco *** girl that becomes sprung as soon as you give her some and someone that you might not feel after the sex so its up to you, think with your head at the top and not the one in your pants.........

You should wait. You do not realize how truely special sexis untill after it is over and gone. Done with. Wait and trust me it will be worth it. I know it is hard being at your age and all, but you will thank me when you wait for that special someone and she will thank you as well. I have made my mistakes in life sleeping with people and I regret everyone but my husband.

It really depends on your own personality. If you want to have no-strings sex, go ahead. If you think you'd feel bad about a one-night stand afterward, then don't.
