This is the best meatloaf. Just make sure that you drain the pan about half way through cooking.

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup crushed buttery round crackers
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons steak sauce

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, stir together ground beef, crushed crackers, cheddar cheese and onion soup mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, stir together eggs, ketchup and steak sauce until smooth. Stir the egg mixture into the beef mixture, adding a little water if necessary. Shape into a loaf and place in a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven 45 to 60 minutes, until no longer pink.

Meatloaf is a sadly neglected culinary treasure, and I will assume you want a recipe for the kind Aunt Harriet would have served for the cover of the Saturday Evening Post.
You'll need:
1/2 lb ground round
1/2 lb ground pork OR turkey
1 egg, beaten slightly
1t parsley flakes or mixed vegetable flakes (think Mrs. Someone or another)
1t Gravy liquid ( that brown stuff in the small bottle)
1t Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup crushed crackers ( those old stale cheese ones will work, too)
1/2 t salt ( add more after cooking, if you must)
One disposable aluminum loaf pan, sprayed with no-stick

Mix it all in big bowl. Use your hands to mix it together but don't mash it tight, you want it mixed, not mangled.

Bake one hour at 350, take it out, and DON'T TOUCH for another 10-15 minutes. Turn out and slice. Gravy it if you like, but that's another answer, isn't it?

Ingredients

900g minced beef
170g stuffing mix (I normally use sage and onion)
2 eggs , beaten
250ml barbeque sauce
250ml water

Procedure

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C or Gas Mark 5). Mix all ingredients and save half of the barbecue sauce. Shape mixture into two even, oval loaves; place side by side (not touching) in a baking dish. Top loaves with the remaining barbecue sauce, and bake for 35 - 45 minutes, or until loaves are no longer pink in the centre.

take some ground beef ( 1-2 lbs) and add some seasoning and perhaps some cracker crumbs or bread crumbs or oatmeal to make it more solid, maybe with an egg to make it stick together, then bake it in the oven at 375 degrees for 1 hour or so for a one pound loaf. maybe 75 minutes for 1 1/2 lb. use a roasting pan or skillet or even a bread pan to get a nice shape. serve with ketchup and green beans and mashed potatoes. mmmmm
