I want to try L'oreal Color Rays and I want to try the colour Blonde on my blackish-dark brownish hair. Has anyone ever tried hi-liting Blonde colour on black/dark-brown hair? How did it turn out? And should I hi-lite my hair blonde? (it will appear a little bit darker than blonde, says the website, because i have darker hair)

You can't get too much of a lift with over the counter hair color products . Color does not lift color , to achieve high lites you need to let a professional to it with bleach ,, (not CLOROX) good luck

Don't do this yourself. Your hair will turn orange .Go to the salon to get it done. I did dye my hair blonde and it turned orange.
