Cats need a shampoo with a different PH balance than human shampoo. Just wait till first thing in the morning and go get some from your vet..
It's not worth giving them a bad skin condition on top of the fleas they already have.

NO NEVER USE HUMAN SHAMPOO ON KITTENS, CATS OR DOGS. Only use the shampoo for kittens, Human shampoo can irriate a kittens skin and dry it out and can be toxic if you don't get all the shampoo off when you rinse. Try getting a flea comb and comb out the fleas and eggs. It works really well its easier on you and your kitten. Also you can try getting a dry shampoo all you do is sprinkle it on them wait a few min and brush it back out. Its less dramic than giving your cat a bath. Whatever you prefer just don't use Human Shampoo.

the human shampoo will not do a thing for fleas, u can buy a flea shampoo at ur local drugstore or grocery store. i really dont think they r old enough for advantage yet, check the label before u put it on them. keep them inside after u wash them and probably bathe them again in a week to 10 days just in case and all should be fine until they r old enough for advantage

No shampoo is going to hurt them if it doesn't get into the eyes. Baby shampoo might be the best choice and Dawn dishwasher soap will do just as well. The fleas will drown in the water, the shampoo doesn't matter. Just be sure to start with the tiniest drop and don't get them too sudsy or you will be rinsing half the night.

Can't give an answer but I'm sure that there's some # to call... An after hrs #. Look in the phone book or even try calling the vet to find out what the after hrs # is :) Then you can call it & ask your Q :) I wouldn't use human shampoo on kittens tho. Then again, I'm not a vet so I'm not qualified to give an answer :P lol...

you could use baby shampoo it's light enough to use on a kitten. however, you should go get kitty shampoo from your local pet store.
these shampoos won't kill fleas unless you get something the is intentionally for the fleas.
you could wait to get the advantage tomorrow, that stuff works fast and Great!

Cats to not need baths very oftne. It is in their instincts to clean themselves. I would wait until they are older to give them an actual bath, but yes, human shampoo works just fine.

NO WAY!!! kittens have very thin skin still and anything like that will get into there system and wont be good. Talk to your vet about what you can use.

Washing with soap doesn't kill fleas. Can't you just wait until you get the Advantage? Washing them is quite traumatic.
