I believe there is a purpose to existence and that death is not just the end. But that's the extent of my belief system. I think Christianity is just an overblown, 2000 year old fad and creationism is pretty much the dumbest thing I've ever heard of in my lifetime. I'd rather call myself 'agnostic' than 'atheist', but being an agnostic is getting kind of cliche nowadays. Who's with me?

Christianity is a load of fairytale bollocks. i also have my own beliefs about life/death and the world, but i would not refer to myself as atheist etc. i dont believe in religion. i so dont understand how Christians can bang on about Adam and Eve, and ignore the whole evolution thing, which has been scientifically proven.

Not me. I am perfectly happy being part of the " overblown 2000 year old fad". To some it may be old. But, God comes alive to me each and every day. He can come alive to you, if you just open your heart to Him and read the bible. The bible may be an old book, but it never gets old. The ideas that are in the bible worked back then, and still even work today if you use the bible as a guideline for your life. The two most important things in the bible: Jesus Christ is your savior. Love everyone.

I cannot say that I am with you, but you do bring up good points. I have a belief system that isn't based solely on Christianity, which i think makes me more well rounded then most. I can argue with a person from a secular view and a christian view.

Considering that there are a few hundred religions, there's no need to be a xian, you can be whatever you want.

I prefer atheism, because it's such a shiny new idea (like a new car!) but there you are.
