If you were the franchise owner, I am sure you would appreciate knowing what employee's are not charging what they should be for items served. If it's 60 cents for caramel, it's 60 cents for caramel! If you never charged people for it, perhaps they should have been more careful when hiring you.
If you think about that 60 cents times 50 coffee's a day, that's over $10,000.00 a year.
And why is it you don't work at Starbucks anymore??

Speak with the manager.
It could be a new employee and had made a poor assumption or something.. mistakes happen.
Also it could be that it is a new fee. That happens sometimes due to a price raise from their wholesaler or something.

Ive never actually been to a starbucks.. I love my Tim Hortons :)

If your drink did not normally come with carmel, then you would normally pay extra for the syrup shot. Although, 60 cents does sound high for a syrup shot.

God, when will this "kwaffe" (that's how the whiny rich kids say coffee) trend be OVER?!?

You want the coffee with all those extras so you can stomach it, then be ready to pay.

Otherwise, ditch the trend and go back to water.

Let's hear it for FourBucks!

Now maybe you'll see: If you want change, keep it in your pocket. Your dollar is your vote and the machines don't count.

Make your own damn coffee.
