The first thing you do above ALL is take the positive terminal off the battery.... you run a risk of shorting or starting a fire or even hurting yourself otherwise... after which you can literally take every plug apart from the amp and the back of the sub... then you can either run the wires out from under the carpet or however it was ran then disconnect the RCA cables from the back of the receiver... also you can take the remote cable off the fuse if that is how it is ran ( all according to how the person installed it) then unhook the ground wire from your amp to where ever it was connected on the body ( prob just a bolt on the chassis somewhere...) hope this helps you

Well you can unplug it or remove the fuse.
