Because you couldn't find someone better of him or finely recognize he was not bad at all. We can quit somebody but the beautiful memory of wonderful time stay with us for a long time or some even forever.
Happened to me and I regret it was the beauty of my life from the past.
The best and the worst is impossible to forget, you can make little smaller but not erase.
Move on - time give you answer and is the best doctor.

Sweetie there is no easy way to get over a guy. As everyone's said time. Maybe if you change something so your a different person to when you dated him, even something like a haircut changes the way you look at life - you feel new and refreshed.

If that doesn't work try taking up a new hobby something that you didn't do with him and see how it goes.

Good Luck

If you aren't broken it seems as if you are already over him. I think time has always been the best way to get a guy out of your system. Turn on some slow music, turn down the lights and have a nice long cleansing cry!

Good Luck!

I think the fact that you dont feel brokenhearted is a good sign that the two of you were not meant to be, and that in fact you are on your way to totally getting over him.
Its totally normal to feel a bit of feeling for him, this is someone you must have really liked to date him in the first place. As time passes the feelings will continue to fade, but for most of us we never really forget anyone we ever dated!

If it was true love you will never get over that person. You can completely move on with your life, but at the end of the day, when you are alone and at peace with your thoughts, you will ALWAYS think of how your life couldve been different.

It's hard to get over exes because you get used to having them by your side. Alot of people mistake that for love. the best way to get over him is to go out and enjoy the single life. Flirt with guys, go to chick flicks with your favorite ladies, join some clubs...Find something to do with your time that you couldn't do with a boyfriend.

If you don't feel broken or anything, your love for him might not have been real strong. But if you still have feelings for him, you probably just miss the companionship. Either more time needs to pass, or you just need someone else to feel for.

Meet someone new!! and you shouldn't feel broken hearted because you only dated him a few months.

Like in pickup, the best way to get over oneitis is to meet other people. He won't seem so special if you met other guys.
