i am male 6"1 and i have a ploblem with being able to talk to lady's i build up the guts but at the last minuet i bottle it and i never seem to be able to step over the line please help me!!!!!!!

Just try and relax Males and females are all human (nearly). Us ladies don't like it if guys make us feel uncomfortable. So if you don't feel right neither will we.

I think 'Shelley' and 'Soulmated' have got it about right. To add to what these ladies are saying and this time, from a male point of view, I think you need to toughen up a bit! Please don't be offended by what I've just said. What I mean by that is that secretly you have a fear of rejection, am I right?
I have to say that all guys get rejected at some time (except me, of course)! It doesn't mean that she's superior or conversely, you're inferior. It simply means that you may be incompatible. There's nothing wrong with that, just accept it and move on. That may seem a little harsh but if she's not attracted to you then there's no point in trying to take this relationship any further.
By the way, the BAD news is I am 56 years old. The GOOD news is, I wasn't ALWAYS 56 years old!

If it's about getting noticed - dress well. The ladies will come up to you and strike up a conversation. Then all you have to do is respond instead of being the first to speak. If I see a well-dressed man, all of a sudden I stop being shy because at least I've got an opening line. I can tell them how nice they look and comment on the shirt, jacket, whatever.

Well you 6'1 so that puts you "head and shoulders" above short arses like me and women, are hot for taller guys. Just try to talk to her as any other person, ask her how she is, how was day, plans for weekend, been to cinema. If she's not interested hey, thats life, but nothing bads going to happen, you wont be struck down with lightning. I would give internet dating ago, get some numbers on the board, get your confidence up, maybe speed-dating.

Well all i can say is theres a lot to be said for Dutch Courage have a few drinks ..obviously dont get totally hammered just 1or2 to take the sting out of it and bite the bullet then because you know what they say ..sometimes the thought is actually worse then the deed! i am very attracted to well-dressed men, even going to a bar dress in a sexy suit, you will be noticed , it just makes a girl crazy to have a gorgeous guy come up to her dressed up. makes a girl feel special. plus it gives a sense of power over the other men i think, when others would normally wear some old jeans and an abercrombe shirt, how old is that? with this youll be able to actually talk to a girl with confidence. and dont be corny.

We have a mating ritual round where I live.Its called the elephant mating call.It goes something like this
1 Extend one arm so that its in front of your face and dangle it around like an elephants trunk.
2.Say the following words "Ow at duck?Dust f*ck? ( Translation : How are you my dear?Do you F*ck )
3 If the answer is "Ah" ( Yes ) then your onto a sure-fire winner
4 If the answer is "No.F*ck off",you need to remember where your false-teeth just landed.

I always feel that if some one is tall like you you feel self conscious. If in a bar try sending a drink over to her and watch for a reaction, hopefully she will come over to thank you and the ice will be broken. Good luck! Most women (especially smaller framed ones) love to go out with a taller guy co it makes her feel safer!

This may sound silly but it does work 80% of the time but just enthusiastically try giving her a high-5 is a good way to connect with someone, break the ice, yet not be corny in any way. She will be sure to remember you and if it doesn't feel quite right, you just keep walking! :-)

I will say it once and again. Try being friends. Try having conversations about what interests you. Etc. There is way too much pressure out there are does he like me? does she like me? does he notice me? does she notice me? how can I get him to notice me? how can I get her to notice me? Really, can't we be people together and talk to each other and get to know each other, AS PEOPLE. If you think of yourself as a person and the lady as a person, then you have spoken to persons, right, so just have a conversation about the weather as a start and see where it goes.

well if you have problems with words try writing a love letter nothing is more personal or sexy or flattering than getting a love letter and they fun to write if you not good with words then just be yrself don't worry what other ppl think i love quiet guys and i'm sure theres lots of girls out there that do just be yrself and be romantic is there someone you like mabye if none of these answers help email me i can give you tips :-)
