My brother and I don't know our father so "honoring him" doesn't matter....We were thinking of a nice slow song, maybe a newer one,non romantic (obviously), but we can't think of anything. We like all music I prefer country he likes rap. We both like alternative and rock. Any ideas?

Ok I think I have a song. My brothers friend said there was a song by The Nixons called "Sister" I just heard it and we both like it. Thanks for all your help.

Whatever song you want. I don't think the fact that its your brother rather than your father should matter in the least. Pick a song YOU like irrespective of who is walking whom. If you don't know, ask your brother to pick one he likes.

Glad you found a song. I did just want to mention, that you better stop calling it a father/daughter dance. Maybe you could just say family dance, or something. I had to dance with my brother.

I would play one that honours your father (maybe his fav song) so that you and your brother can think of him at that moment. (that is if you had that kind of relationship with your dad) part way through the song your brother can go get your Mother and you can go get your husband.

It's not required, so don't do one. Problem solved.
It's a happy day, no need to emphasize pieces of ones live that is missing. Don't dwell on it, no one will miss it.
