Sargon was the ruler of the Akkadians and the first person to create an empire in Mesopotamia.

Why does Sargon's story seem similar to Moses' story?

Tofu Jesus: It's got a reference for the story. Check it out. George A. Barton, Archaeology and The Bible, 3rd Ed., (Philadelphia: American Sunday-School Union, 1920), p. 310.

Moses lived between the 13th and 15th centuries BC. The date on the Sargon story is from the 23rd century BC. 2300 BC is BEFORE 1500 BC.

Not at all, since the writing of the source you are using is dated only a few years ago in the 90's. What would be more interesting would be if you could prove that your story predated the story of Moses, but you can't.

a) I don't know if that's an actual Mesopatamia story
b) I never claimed to know for sure if the Moses liberation story is true, although it is supported by numerous Egyptian documents
c) The themes behind the story are what make it wonderful, not the fact that it did or did not happen

Peace and love be with you always.
