Ok so i have been dating my boyfriend for over a year and he is like insanely jealous! Like if i am like sitting with him and i even mention that i talked to another guy or something he gets all moody and is like who the **** is that??? He is super sweet when we are together alone but when his friends come around he changes which i am hoping is normal. He can get super posessive and get angry when i go hang out with my girlfriends and etc. I honestly don't even have any guy friends that aren't his too. My parents are kind of worried because of his temper and think that he might hit me one day... So i am consulting you guys what should i do??

You should get rid of him now while you still have a chance! He is waaaay too possessive! If you think he might hit you one day, you're probably right! Get out of this unhealthy relationship NOW! It sounds like he is a total control freak and that is really not good at all for anybody!

Best wishes!

sounds like trouble is brewing.. get out now, before he becomes an abusive husband or someone gets hurt. Anger management is a big deal. This can only get worse unless he gets help. Just because someone can be sweet at times doesn't mean they don't have a serious problem.

Your parents are right.
Early warning signs that your date/boyfriend may eventually become abusive:
-Extreme jealousy
-Controlling behavior
-Quick involvement
-Unpredictable mood swings
-Explosive anger
-Isolates you from friends and family
-Shows hypersensitivity
-Blames others for his problems or feelings
-You argue a lot.
-Yells at you for no reason.
-Makes false accusations against you.
-Says you can't do anything right.
-You feel tension, like things could blow up at any moment

Then says "I love you" and apologizes and promises that it will never happen again.

sounds like his jealousy and possessiveness is crossing the disrespectful boundaries. have a serious talk with him and tell him how it bothers you. if he doesn't sit down with you to have the talk then obviously he doesn't care enough to work things out. then you should just dump the dude. good luck!

Leave him now, I was in that position years ago, and I didn't listen to anyone. He ended up abusing me, mentally, physically, and emotionally. My biggest mistake was hoping he could change. You need someone who's going to trust you!
