I've been kinda involved with this guy for about a year now. We used to hate each other in HS, but after talking for a long while we realized that we're kinda compatable. The thing is I've been hurt a lot by guys so i don't trust his intentions. Theres no reason not to...he's never lied to me. He's a bit trust advocate. So am I but i believe it's gained...he believes that it's more "truthful till proven liar". For a couple months this summer we talked for HOURS every night. It ws great. Then we went on a trip together. (we both belong to an organization and we, and 4 other people went to Romania) Ever since it's been horrible. We went weeks without talking. Now we want to try again...and want to start dating eventually. But we get on the phone and have nothing to talk about. Help me!!

Sounds like something happened on the trip. You need to discuss it with him. Did you have a fight while away? Did he stray? You say that you both want to start dating, so what is stopping you? You need to discuss these things with him or move on.

Start planning another trip together. E-mail him pictures of you and what you have been up to lately (trips/vacations/friends).
Talking on the phone for HOURS can only last so long, right? Maybe try and lower that expectation and find other ways to get close to him and reunite.
Oh and I have to agree with him on the "till proven liar". Come on, this guy isn't someone you met in a bar or off the street...give him some credit.
