Now this ***** of a would be mothers family, said the sentence (which was 10 years in jail) was too much and they believe the judge was wrong!
Are they f'n crazy...that ***** should get life!
Am I the only who feels this way?
She murdered her son, didnt even love him or give him a chance...and people think her going to jail for ten years is too much????

Yep people are ****** up in the head. Id give her life too. I have known 2 people that killed their baby's and 1 got prison time and the other nothing it makes me sick. I have 3 boys and I cant imagine anything happening to them and sometimes I stat and think the "what ifs" and I get so sick to my stomach. I don't know how people can defend something like that it is just wrong.

People are more concerned about having sex then realizing the consequences that come from there selfish acts (selfish meaning not taking the precautions to prevent pregnancy) If you dont want to have a baby, there is all kinds of birth control out there to prevent that. Instead people arent using there thinkers end up getting pregnant and those poor babies are the ones who suffer or loose there lives. I think this person should have her life taking away she should be put under the prison. If people dont want babies use protection are just dont have sex!!! How hard is that to figure out.

This woman diserves death or at least life. When it is safe for you to take your baby to a hospital and hand it over without question, there is no need for this kind of behavior. I mean is she afraid someone will think badly of her if she did that. NO she looks bad. Giving a baby up for adoption is a noble choice that should be regarded as such and people like this should be left to die. I am sorry but anyone who harms a child to me I just can't stand I wan to make my keyboard scream right now. God bless this baby that has joined his home and those angels who will offer it love unconditionally.

A teenage mother was arrested Thursday after police said her 3-month-old daughter fell into a bucket of vomit and died.
Savarin Dejesus, 18, left the child with a baby sitter at an East Harlem group home where she was living and then headed out for a night of partying Sept. 15, police said. When she returned, she went to her room, set a bucket next to her bed in case she became sick and fell asleep with the baby, Niah Ford, in her arms, they said.
Dejesus vomited in the bucket that night, and later Niah tumbled out of her arms and landed in the bucket, police said. Dejesus didn't discover what had happened to Niah until the next afternoon, they said.
Niah was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. It appeared she had drowned in the bucket, which was filled with water and vomit, police said.
Dejesus was charged with criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child.

I agree. It's both disgusting and sad (for the infant, not for the trash who do this.) What makes it so bad is that all states, to my knowledge, allow "mothers" to drop off infants at hospitals, police and fire departments, no questions asked, no charges filed, nothing but making sure the infant is safe and put into a loving home.
It's very disgusting. Makes you wish that some women have their tubes tied immediatley. She should've gotten life. Anyone who commits a crime against a child deserves to be gone for life.

~~~Its so heartbreaking when we hear stories like this one,,,and the part that makes me so angry is why didnt her family take the newborn child and bring him to the hospital, give to an adoption agency,,,there is always an alternative,,they would have taken the child no questions asked,,,,,it pains me to know that there are such crule and heartless people that abuse children of all ages. And 10 years is not long enough of a punnishment! Im sorry that this upset you so,,,because you are imagining what that poor innocent child when through,,,,,we pray for all the unwanted and abused children,,,,,,

She should get death..and yes her family to should be held accountable..There is so much help for younger moms now a days that this has to stop..and if we don't stand up and speak out loud about this then is just keeps on happening..Parents:..Don't close the doors of communication with your children..and don't scare them into those if you come home pregnant stories...

Life? That sounds rather unfair since she'd get food, medical care, and entertainment paid by our tax $$... Her baby didn't get any of these. She should by all rights get the death penalty. She didn't accidentally kill her baby but consciously made the decision to dump her baby in someones yard to die. Murderer!!!

Where I come from, there are all kinds of things you can do to give your baby away with no cosequences. Drop it off at a hospital or police station or fire department. Don't kill it.
