HI, I am 13 years old and for about a month I have really really liked this guy and then school started and i found out he likes me too and i was all ecited and stuff because i thought i could have a boyfriend:). But now i like go to restaurants(well like mcdonalds) at lunch with him and stuff and now i dont know if i like him anymore. Well truthfully, i still do like him but i really dont want a boyfriend at this time in my life. He is a part of my group I hang out with regularly and it would be really awkward if i rejected him because it would be really weird but it would also be awkward if i went out with him because first of all, he is a part of my group, and second of all i dont really like him THAT much to have him as a boyfriend. Oh ya and I forgot to mention that he told my best friend hes going to ask me out tomorrow. ooooggggg. I really dont know what to do.. please help

ok first of all your friend is probably telling you that to make you nervous and you are right i dont think you should date at this time if he asks you out just say i need to get to know you better maybe in a few years i dont think this is a good time to date right now because ppl that date that young they dont have boyfiends or girlfriends very long so y chance having your hart broken

if i were you, i'd tell him that i like him and all but i don't want to be in a relationship now. you could tell him you wanna be friends with benefits. It's pretty much the same as having him as a boyfriend. You can hold hands with him and everything but at the same time he'll only be a friend. If you reject him he might not want to hang out with you as much and he may not talk to you much either so... you should tell him you want to be friends with benefits. It's hard to say how he will react to this cause some boys will be alright with just being friends and others well lets just say they can be complete JERKS. G2G now! :)

You will go through this many times in your life so you may as well get used to being able to "let someone go" so to speak. You just have to be straight forward with him. Just tell him that you don't want a boyfriend now, that you aren't ready yet. Explain to him that you still like him but just as a friend. At your young age I can't see any reason why this wouldn't work. Good Luck!

Tell him that you are flatter but your parents told you that you cannot have a boyfriend or start to date anyone until your 16 yrs old this way he wont feel bad and he will understand good luck to you

I understand what your saying, but i think you should have him as a bf. my bf is a part of my friend group, its cool though. my other friends in the group respect that, they dont tease or anything. if you really like him, id go for it!

tell him that since you two are in the same friend group that you feel that it would be awkward esp. if you two didn't work out, but that you're flattered and think that he's very sweet/cute.
Honestly if you two did get together it could tear apart your friends.

well if you don't want to ruin your friendship just tell him exactly that....that you don't want to ruin your friendship, maybe he'll understand.
