Good going guy. Don't let them get you down. As I read through the comments, I realized that some just got a little to technical in their answers. I feel like your point is, The Indians no matter their tribe.....were here first. The White people came.....raped, stole, .... and killed to take. Is that coming as legal immigrants.....I think not. They came as theives in the night. Yes, that is the past. Now in regards to the Mexicans....they have forever had crooked politicians......now think not for one minute that their have been no benefits to the USA ......crooked presidents sold them the majority of the Mexican's lands.....they sold us their oil.....who benefited the USA and Mexico's Politicians.....Not the poor indigent Mexican.......It is time to stop taking advantage of The Mexican race......and accept them into our throngs......or better yet overthrow their government and help them straighten our their mess.......Don't ask why.....because we have totally supported the invasion of Iraq and for what......oil also......why not Mexico for their oil?

The matter of who is and who is not an "immigrant" is relative to the timeline you are observing. If you go back far enough, you can show nearly any peoples having inhabited one place as having originated somewhere else. So, we are all immigrants or of immigrant heritage as are the so-called "native americans".
Their ancestors are believed to have entered North America from what we now know as Asia. The Mexicans held sway to a portion of what we now call The United States of America and were defeated and partially driven out as have been other populations in other places over the entire span of recorded history. So, what is your point? You might get a better grip on reality by studying beyond the point of history where you think you have substantiated a belief you hold. Get the larger picture. You cannot effect that which has past. You can have some effect on the present and future. Also, the "I was here first" argument is of no merit whatsoever since the one who shoots fastest and most accurately ultimately has control over property. Whether or not one is an immigrant has nothing to do with his capacity to exercise rights in the particular nation he inhabits. The law makes priveleges available to naturalized immigrants. Whether or not they choose to take advantage of the mechanisms provided for them is their option.
The condition of occupying our nation and attempting to subvert or overthrow the government and existing system is called "war".

How many of the current Mexicans are pure-blooded Central Americans and not bastard children of the Conquistadors? Get a grip on reality yourself.
And if they moved into the United States they would likely be immigrants by blood, depending upon the Native American heritage which their blood carried.
Moreover, they are immigrating to a foreign nation, thus whether or not they have ancestors from 8 generations ago or more that may or may not have lived on US soil has no bearing on current immigration status.
STFU.

Actually....
The first Americans were not from Siberia
some 11,000 years ago
but a race of people called Salutrians from 20,000 years ago
Nothing too startling
except for the fact that the Salutrians are Europeans ...
from France no less.
The Salutrians (White Europeans)
Were The FIRST People In North America
Based on the Clovis Point spearhead (Native Americans)
a spearhead found in France at Salutrian excavations
are almost identical to the Clovis point spearhead
yet date from some 10,000 years earlier.
Sort of throws it all on its head somewhat doesnt it ?
( I'm Talkin About Your Ridiculous Arguement )
These White Europeans, living in the last Ice Age,
needed only to hug the ice sheet
that covered the northern Atlantic
from around Virginia to southern France
as they made their way across the Atlantic
in pursuit of food.
Geneticists corroborated this finding by saying
that a certain gene found only in Europeans and not Asians
has been found in Native Americans
The "Native Americans" (Injuns)
Are Descendents Of White Europeans (Salutrians)
And The Asian Migrants (Eskimoes)
Which Arrived Some 10,000 - 16,000 Years Later
Google It
get a grip on reality

Oh I love the lets just blame everything on what peoples ancestors did hundreds of years ago to excuse criminals sneaking into our country to take jobs and aid that our own LEGAL citizens need routine! (wow what a long sentence)
Yes a couple hundred years ago Native Americans were the "legal" residents but wait didn't they "steal" the land from the dinosaurs. Maybe that is really what happened to them! WOW who is the rightful "owner" of this land we call America?
Really though there are other countries that had people take over the country, form their own government, and now have restrictions on immigration. Why is it ok for that country and not America? Is it because people hate Americans? That makes sense (rolling eyes)
This argument doesn't hold water!

How do you think the Native Americans got here and why do you think they have so many Mongoloid features? They're immigrants, too. Everyone on this continent is.
I don't know if they took this out of the science books but it was in ours since first grade, until some parents got mad at the schools for agreeing with science that civilization is over 2,000 years old.

WRRRONNNG... Mexicans are mostly mixed white and indigenous..Mayan and Aztec Indians..not Navajo..Cherokee or anything in present day US. Native Americans came from Asia over the Bering Straight land bridge. Most anthropologists now believe that they pushed out and caused genocide on the inhabitants before them. The previuos inhabitants were in a gene pool closer to Australian aboriginies. You will never here this unless you study anthropology in college. The liberal media doesn't want you to know

What makes you think that the "Native Americans" are native to this continent? The Tigris & Euphrates don't run through here. They simply crossed the land bridge that used to exist between what's now Alaska and Russia. Here's a hint: WE'RE ALL IMMIGRANTS, including the Native Americans.
