How can a probation officer find out if you've left the state if they have no reason for thinking you did so?

This would be via commercial flight.

No house visits and no phone calls to me in 6 months. Just monthly reporting.

If you want to leave the state, you should just ask your probation officer for permission. As long as you tell him or her how long you are going to be there and what you will be doing while you are there, chances are that he or she will give you permission to go. As long as you are not going for an extended period of time, I don't see why your probation officer would have a problem with just a short trip. Just ask, it's a lot better than getting caught and having yoru probabion violated.

They'll have reason when you don't show up! And if you just go for some outing and take a chance you're playing with fire! They will issue a warrant immediately for the first and will charge you with violation of probation for either. With all said and done, you go to jail! Finding out may be an issue but the point is "if they do"!

It's easy 4 them 2 find this out.They make surprise vists 2 everyone's homes & who ever is there will give them the info

That depends on how you left the state, and if there's any evidence. If it was you that this happened to or the one that did this I should say, posting it on the internet wasn't the smartest decision.

well if you just drove across state line and didnt get pulled over or make any credit card charges or anything that ties your name to a place they cant unless someone you know tells them
