Our problem is different. We don't have massive amounts of people illegally walking across the border.
There are those in GB that wish that the people from Africa & the Indian subcontinent would simply go back but it is a little late for that.
Most of the immigrants seem like nice people to me.

hello
Whether immigration is seen as a problem really depends on who you speak to. Probably half of the UK think it is, and the other think it isnt.
But from a purely economic view, the baby boom of the 1950s means that in around 20 years time all western nations will have a very large amount of old people, who are unproductive. That means that only 1 of 2 things can happen.
1. The youg people pay a lot more tax to make up for the unproductivity of the elderley.
or
2. We let a lot of young people form other countries come into our countries and fill the gap of that low amount of working people.
Dont forget that a human being can produce more than they require, that means that anybody who works is always contributing to the economy.
The debate is whether too many immigranst will destroy our own cultures or not. Another debate is whether they will commit loads of crime, and therefore will not help the countries they are in.
I think that whilst immigrants statistically commit more crime, overall they benefit our economies more than they hinder them.
And I do not think white americans are racist, I understand their concerns.

i'm guessing uk. The cultural adjustments of their Muslim immigrates have become an surprising divide interior the united kingdom, and the Brits are refusing to administration it. they are too laptop with regard to the whole situation. France has had a significant themes is the previous, yet under the warm governments, they are making some soreness steps in controlling their immigrates. Germany, i do no longer think of of has had a brilliant number of a immigration situation, with the aid of actuality a brilliant number of its labor rigidity from the former eastern block. They consistent with probability foreigner, yet they are although "westerners" in theory and background. the U. S.'s situation is lots resembling Germany. The Latin American immigrates are a minimum of "Westerners". As long we are waiting to decelerate unlawful immigration, and are available for the time of a thank you to ingrate the latin persons on the on the spot residing in our borders, i think of of may well be ok. Perhap, better importantly we choose help hit upon away to advance Mexico financial gadget. it is going to close off the valve to unlawful immigration. yet i'm guessing.

I don't think people in the UK care very much. They have their own issues. We also have bigger issues. People are dying from aids, hiv, poverty, children die everyday from lack of clean water and we are stressed out because people crossed our side of the line. Do I think it is ok for illegals to come here and make outrageous claims like they have the right to what we made as a country? No, If you want to come into this country do it the right way. Become a naturalized citizen. But I also can't blame them for wanting to come to a much better place where they can provide a life outside of poverty for them and their families. I do believe in hard work and making a way for yourself and not stealing lying or cheating and taking things from others but we didn't work hard we were fortunate enough to be born here and not have to worry about issues like this. If you come to this country do it the right and honest way. That's what the US is supposed to stand for. Illegals complain how this country is supposed to stand for every man is created equal. Then why work for less than what we would? Do things the right way and goodness will come to you.

Was'nt aware you had one. Except from the mexican border. These people are exploited as you said. More to be pitied than anything. It's sad how corrupt the world is, including the western civilisations. I know americans who have to work two jobs to be able to meet their rent, minimum wages. I'm sure those employers who take on illegals are laughing their heads off at being able to bypass the IRS and have no conscience. They probably attempt to fool themselves that they are doing these people a good turn. It happens in the UK too.

Americans should not talk about immigration issues at all because they are in a stolen country. They are all illegal immigrants from Ireland and such European countries. The only Americans who can whinge are the REAL Americans who have now sadly been dispossessed by a bunch of cowboys. I have stronger language but I will not deploy that here.

There are many people from other countries that have a lot to offer, but unfortunateley the majority of people who come to the UK. for a better life are those who cannot cut it in their own country so we get the dreggs. They are straight on to benefits and many do not try to learn english properly. There are exceptions of course , but a lot of professional people abroad do not need to make the move.

White Americans themselves are illegals. Did they seek permission from the Natives of America?
Despite the native Indians not wanting, they still invaded their lands, and yet these very people are against immigration. I am getting confused here.

In the UK, economists reckon that immigration is the only way that people of my are (30ish and younger) will be able to get a state pension, as pensions are paid from the contributions of the current workforce.
As people like myself are not having children, there will not be enough young people to pay the pensions of retired people without immigration.
I don't know about illegal working, but I would say that immigrants are probably more willing to work hard to achieve something, whereas people who have grown up with a welfare state often have the attitude that they are "owed" a living.
Isn't the US state founded on immigration anyway?
