sprinkle meat tenderizer on both sides of steaks
then poke with a fork all over on both sides
cover steaks in "Lawrys Steak & Chop" Marinade
then sprinkle steak dust on top of both sides
set aside in fridge to marinade for about an hour. The longer the better.
are you using gas grill or coal grill?
If you use coal grill, make sure your coals have heated real good before placing steaks on it (about 1/2 hour ashy grey looking). cook about 6 minutes a side then cut into one and see how bloody it is. If it's too bloody then keep ccoking for another 3-4 minutes per side. Same applies to gas grills.
Ejoy!
I'm having NY Strips tonight...

The key to a juicy steak is to have high heat and sear both sides for about 60-90 seconds. After that decrease the heat (if cooking on gas grill) or move to a cooler part of the grill (on coals). Let them cook for about 3 mintes a side and you should have a juicy steak with the pink line in the middle. If you have never done it it may take time to master the skill and the grill. Good luck.

Well I love a good medium rare ribeye so I get my grill really hot! And then its about 3-4 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the steak.. I usually get the 1inch thick steaks and that time line works great! May want to go a bit longer for medium though...

Get the grill going - make sure the coals are ashey (grey to white) and very hot.
Put the steak on the grill. When the juices come out on the top of the steak, turn it over. Wait for the juices to come out on the top of the steak again, then it's ready!

Just follow what everyone else told you, but dont cut the steak as soon as youre done cooking it. you need to let it "rest" for a few minutes so the juices can redistribute. If you cut right into it all of the juices run out onto the plate leaving you with a very dry steak

Firstly put your steak in a polythene bag, then bash it with a steak hammer,
if not rolling pin will do. (reason in bag, so you don't get splashed.)
High heat, griddle or frying pan add a dash of water, chopped onion, steak,
season with salt & pepper, press steak with fish slice so you can see the
juice/blood oozing from it, if it is clear juice, then your steak is done,
if steak is red, rare, please note don't forget to turn your steak.
Regards.
Lain.
P.S., If you wanted to make gravy, when you cook your steak add 1/2Pint
of beef stock, bring to boil with the onion and steak in the frying pan,
simmer gently until your steak is cooked.
Chips are delicious with it.
Regards.
Lain.

there is nothing like a good steak...you have alot of good answer's to your question. so take your pick and enjoy your steak....... i like ny strips the best..test your steak by pressing on it, if you press on it and it is too hard, it is well done, if it is press on it and there is no blood it would be med.well (ummm good) and if you press and you have blood(not to bloody) that would be med, and if there is a lot of blood when pressing on it again that would be med. rare to almost rare, and rare would be just enough to take the chill off......marinading is good to. A1 has a good marinading steak sauce that will make your steak melt in your mouth....enjoy....good luck..
