Do you really want to scrimp on something so important? You can try a used tire place, but who knows what you will get.

Go to a tire store and ask if they have any take-offs. Some people get a couple of bad tires and buy all 4. The two good ones are still decent and can be bought cheap.

They can be cheeper but you go down from a 50,000 mile tire to a 30,000 mile tire. All dealerships have them. Discount Tires, PepBoys, Sam's Club, Walmart, Costco and so on they all have them but you get what you pay for.

call your local junk yard sometimes they have cars that are brand new that got totaled that have great tires on them but they will sell the tires for 10 -15 $ each.. that is how I get my tires and they last me for a year or more... cheap and it is recycleing... im all about being green... and crunchy...

check the sunday paper, out here they are always running tire specials at big 0' or firestone etc. but yeah, get good tires or you'll regret it later when they slide all over the place during the rainy season
