Check out the Petco on City Line Avenue or in Haverford on weekends. There is usually a cat lady who brings a slew of kittens, and she only charges the cost of getting them vaccinated and fixed. You'll have the annoying work done for you, and you'll be able to get supplies in the same trip. You might want to call Petco first to see if she'll be there. Good luck.

Go to the local animal shelter and ADOPT one and SAVE ITS LIFE. Be sure you know how to care for a kitten before you get one, and not on here asking questions after you do. Be informed about cats first and foremost. And be prepared to have to spend some money for shots, food, vet bills, toys, and such.

look in your local paper. you'll usually find people that are giving them away, but, be sure to have feline diseases test done to ensure a healthy cat/kitten, then get the yearly vacc's done.
