they are similar muscle cars but the GTO has the higher resale value and the interior is nicer. As for the engine, if you are going for a muscle car you are not going to stop with factory so that does't matter much but edge goes to the charger off the mark and the GTO down the straight away. I would go GTO.

Pontiac GTO ALL THE WAY BABY!!! The car is sporty to boot! I do not care for the Dodge Charger.

Pontiac GTO....There are too many chargers out there already. Plus I perfer the styling on the Pontiac. (I NEVER thought I would say that.)

The Charger SRT-8 would blow away the GTO in speed style and overall performance!! Its so charged up and ready to go ....its also very sleek looking and aggresive!!

def. the goat. its cheaper, cooler lookin and its made by GM enough said. besides the charger only has 25 extra hp, and that aint enough to beat the lighter GTO

go with the gto it has 450hp and thay are a real sport car not a family car plus every one has a charger
