I say Teddy Roosevelt....think of it, the man put together what,
esentially, was a militia, and kicked a s s singlehandedly, unlike
the career officers the other presidents were. TR could single-
handedly trounce any other president one-on-one in a boxing
ring or cage match, including Truman, another career officer.
Ike would be tough....lets not forget normandy, but his career
officer roots work against him here as well. TR could single handedly kick every other president's *** consecutively,
without a time-out!
Don't mess with TR, or else!
Look how bad he looked in the picture below, getting ready
to kick some spanish A s s

TR's Rough riders.....a volunteer regiment
created specifically and only to kick
Spanish a s s, after which it was disbanded. I call it essentially a militia because TR did all the recruiting of cowhands, vagrant, and hell-raisers personally, after which it disbanded.
Look how bad the rough riders looked
on the link below.....and tell me this motley crew of hell-raisers don't look like a militia!

forgot about Andrew jackson.....yeah, thats a close one between TR and AJ....would be like an ultimate fighting championship match....TR was portly but strong as an ox, and had a hell of a grapple hold....
and Jackson was a wiry SOB, and trashed
more people than you could count with that
D A M N hickory stick. I'll still give it to TR in a hour long cage match......

Forgot to mention, lincoln wrestled for
money in county fair contests as a young man, and was considered top notch.
Lincoln was a wiry, tough hombre too!
