Should the lower chain of the humans be castrated for their crimes?

no, they should be imprisoned with the general population so that they really suffer.

Yes. they should be Physically castrated (chemical castration is not 100% successful) and locked away. For some this is the only way to ensure the safety of the general public. Paedophiles and rapists brains are wired different from ours, they don't see what they are doing as wrong. Anyone ever here of a reformed paedophile??.
And yes they should be in general population in prison, they know if they get out and re-offend at the moment that they have a safe warm cell with colour TV, radio and kettle, 3 meals a day and a job or education waiting for them when they get caught. There are a lot of people on the outside who don't have these things.

I agree that rapists should be castrated as long as they are definately guilty of their crime - perhaps the victims themselves should be allowed into the operating theatre to help with the proceedure!? As for paedophiles, well, no i dont believe they should be castrated. They should be handed over to the victims family so that they can be punished properly, instead of being locked up with central heating, 3 meals a day and no bills hanging over their heads.... Its a disgrace - Bring Back Hanging!

Castration is to good for these animals, and not all rapists and paedophiles are men, although most of them are. First of all these control freaks should have been put in a room with the families of the victims, I know I would have torn the bastard to shreds for what he did to my little girl...... Then a slow painful death of the families choice. Victims of sex offences never get over it, the rest of their lives can effected in one way or another, yet the perverts get lots of help to reform. An eye for an eye..

Castration will do nothing for these people, they will continue to abuse in other ways, even if it no longer gives them a sexual kick. They should simply be locked up and the key thrown away, they are a waste of space, sad pathetic losers and even they know it. There should be no second chance for these people, they don't give a damn about their victims. They ruin so many peoples lives and for what. A quick sexual kick. They do not belong in society. Lock them up and keep it that way, no parole ever!

Lets just think about this one for a minute. If (as some people do) we regard the actions of such people as being a disease/mental condition then chemical or physical castration will not stop individuals from sexually assaulting others. Granted it will stop the physical act of rape but it cannot stop an offender using other items to achieve the same goal. And before I get a response saying well "kill them then" that is only a form of retribution and will only satisfy a short term lust for revenge and will not stop others committing the same crime. Recognising people who are at risk of offending is one solution how you would do this I do not know.

I somewhat agree. To me that seems a little too easy. I think it should something really twisted, like not only are they castrated, but then the member is logged and then cemented into their buttocks. That way they can no longer defecate, so the poo builds up in their stomach, and then causes so much blockage that their intestines explode. That punishment might be a little light too, but I guess I'm being nice today.

depends on the rapist, if your "rapist" is one of these kids that had sex with their boyfriend/girlfriend that happened to be 1 or 2 years younger than them and the parents knew and where cool with it until they broke up or found out got pissed and pressed charges then no, if its just some perv sure but you would have to take some sperm samples first so they cant complain about not being able to have kids when they get out, also what would you do for females, and yes there are female rapist and definitely pedophiles

I think that that should be the only way they could EVER get out of prison. It would be a condition of release. So then they would have the choice to stay in prison or get castrated.

If guilt could be ascertained without a doubt, I'd support capital punishment for it. There is NO excuse for violating a human being like that, let alone a child. There is no word in the English vocabulary that could really express how I feel about scum that do that.

You no what I never thought of that before. That would actually be a really good punishment. If they go to prison they will just be released early and the death penalty gives them an easy way out. What better way than to take away their manhood and give them no way to pleasure themselves.
