Another interesting question Corey. I love how your mind operates. In the above situation I think people would realize the importance of having control over their own thoughts and their mind to the extent of knowing how to protect themselves from psychic intrusions. This isn't an answer to your question but is a little related. Years back I dreamt that a mind reader was attempting to kill me. Since he was reading my thoughts my chances of escape were limited indeed. The dream was a fascinating challenge in controlling my thoughts. If I planned to jump in a car and race away I'd need to think I was going to hide in the bathroom or something totally different in order to be able to carry through my plan. It's very difficult to think you're going to do one thing and make yourself do something entirely different without giving any thought to it.
Did you happen to read Dreamcatcher? There's a great part in it where a character is inside his head hiding from a being who invaded his body. He sees how he has categorized all his memories and data and finds how his thoughts are connected so that in order to hide he has to remove all the connections between his thoughts.
I think that as the channels of love become more opened between people psychic abilities will increase exponentially. The very fact that one wants to kill another closes down the channels of communication on a psychic level.

I do not get 'knowledge is more important than death' as I never seek death, but do always seek knowledge. And I will at some point die, but I will never know. So how do you compare between the two?

Also, psychics could only mentally kill people who leave the door to their mind open. That door is open in my venus flytrap head too, just so I can pick off whatever psychic or psychologist dares enter. But anyway, if psychics kill anyone - it'll be among their own.

The only way psychics "mentally kill" people is by convincing them to do idiotic things, like stopping taking life saving medication. If there were any real psychic powers, their existence would almost certainly have been scientifically proven by now.

If anyone out there thinks they can prove any paranormal or supernatural power, there's a million dollar prize waiting for you to claim it.
