Go some place that has a few distractions so if there's a weird pause it won't kill the night. Liiiike bowling, dinner/movie, watching a sporting event, going to a fair, ice skating, picnic, site seeing. Remember to be yourself but don't talk about yourself too much, girls hate that...ask her quesitons and listen to her responses...bring up stuff she said in the beginning at the end of the date, so she knows you really listened and are interested in what she's saying

Depends how old you are. If you are legal drinking age (or have good fake ID) then my fave is having drinks, on a patio, or in a pub. You might say "would you like to have a drink?" I prefer this, and if we click, then we might stay and have several. If not, then we just finish our drinks, and that is that.

On a first date you just want to learn more about the person, and see if there is chemistry between the two of you. Sometimes it is there, sometimes not.

If on the other hand you already know each other to some extent, and there IS chemistry, then my fave is to go listen to a good live band, drink & dance. That's my dos pesos, amigo.

Laugh, and make it memorable, do something unique, and questionable that makes them intrigued to have a follow up date, I like taking a drive some place special with meaning, or just going to a quite place to eat where you can be comfortable and have it be the place where you two began, outdoors is good if she is wearing the right shoes, always look at their shoes it will let you know what they are in the mood to do, good luck and big hugs

Here's my #1 tip for guys wondering what to do on a date...

LISTEN TO HER. This has been determined to be one of the most important things in getting a girl to like you! If she doesn't think you're interested in the things she is saying, she will move on to the next guy quickly...

Ask leading questions, share with her some of your experiences, but don't dwell on you. By drawing out things from her, it shows your interest. After that, everything else just comes easily.

GOOD LUCK!! =-]

Have a conversation and get to know the person. Try going out to dinner. I feel that the movies is so impersonal and you are just sitting there watching a movie and not really getting to know the person.

Have fun! Go to dinner, movies, or do some exciting out-door activities.
Make sure you both have fun. That's the important thing.

Talk and investigate with the other person. This way you avoid personality surprises. One guy had the nerve to tell me he could just give any answer he wanted so why even ask him. Bingo! I knew what I needed to watch for with him.

Met at a coffee shop (safe zone) and talk...find out if there are any common interests. Drive seprately so if things are not working out, you can leave.
