If you omit the chocolate chips, you'll have something similar to a sugar cookie but with a slightly different flavor.

the chocolate chips are there for a reason and that is why they are called chocolate chips so when you bite into the you get a nice tasting cooking and then a little choc added. You could use something else like a nut of some kind and call them the name of the nut cookies.

Hi!!! I don't think that they will be chocolate chip cookies anymore just plain sugar cookies.

they will be just a plain cookies simlar to a sugar cookie ..why didnt you make plain sugar cookies....add some cocoa to you cookie dough and have chocolate cookies....
