For instance, Madonna's revolting stage show in which she was strapped to a giant silver cross wearing a crown of thorns ? This was extremely offensive to Christians but what if an ageing pop star did the same to the Muslim leader. We silence the tiny voice of Christian protesters but magnify the Muslim cause as front page news.

Your second question : Perhaps Christians in the West are actually beginning to live according to Christ's advice to take it on the chin. Better? Different for sure.
Your first question : Christians do still get bolshie, e.g. the fundamentalists protesting against secular liberalism. But their faith does not actually encourage them to kill or be militant. I live in 'a muslim area' in the UK (as a muslim activist recently described his part of the country). I would be afriad to have a profile for criticising muslim culture because I know that extremists (one, two?) here would possibly find me and have a pop.

No it means that our Christian beliefs are being eroded, it all began in 1979 when the Sha of Iran was deposed. I spend a lot of time preaching the Gospel to Muslims and have had some success in leading them to the Lord. Please visit my website www.heartofworship.eu on the letters page you will find a letter from a Muslim asking about the difference between Islam and Christianinty.
I think most people would be horrified if the knew the truth about Mohammed.
God bless

Oh please, stop trying to prove you're "better" than other people, muslims included. Don't you know the history of your religion includes the murdering of millions of innocents just because they would not convert to christianity? That most chritstians today are less overtly violent (on an individual level), yet they still use politics and words to hurt others daily? That the current "war on terrorism" is in most ways a war on islam led by a fundamentalist christian, meaning you've moved up to state-sponsored revenge attacks?
You're all equally wrong, bullheaded, and brutal --all of you religious nuts. You're what's wrong with the world today, and what's mostly been wrong with it throughout civilization.

1. Christ tells us to fogive and to act as he instructed us to do.
2. Far too many people confuse cowardice for being a Christian. God tells us that he hates a coward. I wonder how many people would actually be in GODs army. I am afraid not many would.

I think we have to feel sorry for those Muslim's who are so easy led like sheep, instead of being able to make up their own mind, but let's not blame all Muslims, their not all so gullible

Christians believe the Son of God taught that forgiveness, tolerance and kindness to all faiths leads to paradise.
Muslims believe a prophet taught that slaughtering everyone [of any faith] leads to paradise.
Who would you rather offend?

Your local Catholic priest is not likely to issue a Fatwa against you. Can you say the same of a mullah?
