Well your uterus is still contracting to get back to it's normal size, and breastfeeding helps speed this process along. Having 3 kids you would know what it should feel like, so call your OB if you are concerned.

You may have a bladder infection or kidney infection or even a uterine infection. It happens after birth sometimes. I would call the doctor asap if you have not already.
I know after my daughter was born I had way more pain than the usual "afterpains" which I know can feel like bad contractions. This pain kept up even when I was not nursing and went to my kidneys and into my lower abdomen. Turns out I had a uterine infection that came out of nowehere. No reason either. I had a normal vag delivery.
So drink the cranberry juice, suck back the water and get it checked out to be safe.

Oh ya, it is normal. As you breastfeed your uterus is contracting back to it's normal size. My pains after my third child were much more severe than the other two. I really thought that their had to be another baby trying to come out. It felt just like hard labor. I don't think you should worry but you can always call your OBGYN for peace of mind. Good luck and congrats on the new addition to your family.

After birth pains are contractions and can be just as strong as labor pains especially if you are breastfeeding. My advice would be to call your OB doctor/nurse and talk to them. Schedule a visit if you are really concerned. No one on here knows for sure that its not anything more than birth pains.

Post partum cramping is worse with breastfeeding, and gets worse with each baby you have.

It's also fairly common for women to develop urinary tract infections after delivery. If it doesn't get better, I'd certainly call my doctor.
