if you're gonna shave, you're gonna have to follow it up every day to make sure that it stays smooth. usually after half a day it's already prickly again.

(uh, are you a guy or a girl?) if you're a girl, you can wax your own pubic mound (the front) by spreading some good oriental wax (i recommend veet oriental wax) according to the direction which your hair is growing and pulling the cotton strip in the opposite direction. hold your skin tight and pull fast. take care of stray hairs using a tweezer. it may smart the first time, but by your second or third time you should begin to find it more enjoyable. wait about a week after your period is over so that your skin isn't that sensitive. waxing removes dead skin cells and hair down to the roots. once you've rinsed and pat yourself dry you'll notice how smooth your skin's become and feel no more pain.

but when it comes to the hair on your labia and anus, get a professional esthetician to remove it for you with Brazillian waxing. you shouldn't wax yourself down there because you're not in a position where you can pull the strips in the proper direction. you might get yourself injured, so don't risk it. btw things are less painful when a professional's doing it for you.

you can probably also try an electric epilating machine... it works for some people but personally i don't prefer it.

Shaving will cause nasty looking bumps and sometimes cause painful, unsightly ingrown hairs. Waxing is better but it really hurts.

I would suggest using an epilator - it's like a tweezing machine. It pulls hair by the roots like wax, but no mess like the wax. It hurts more than shaving but less than waxing. It will not leave any bumps or cause ingrown hairs. Try emjoi.com.

Shave it.

Do not wax because that is extremely painful and will leave all sorts of bumps when the hair starts growing back.
