there is this woman I have been on a date with now a few times and have known now for a good month. Now my question comes in a situation that may arise tonight. She wants to come over to watch a television show I taped for her but I have two couches...a love seat two seat couch and my normal three seat couch. What do I do if she sits on the love seat couch, do I sit next to her or sit on the other couch? Will it be too awkward for me to sit right next to her if we have yet to make a move with each other ...or is this a good first step?

I would say, if she sits on the love seat, you sit on the big couch. Before the show is over, she will find her way to the big couch, She will make an excuse to get up. She'll go to the restroom or something, but when she gets back she will sit with you. If she sits on the big couch, sit there too, but not right up next to her. Sit kinda on the other end of it. Watch, I promisae if she is into you at all, she will slowly start inching her way over to you. Or her hand will end up closer and closer to you on the couch, wanting you to hold her hand. Girls do every thing very slying, she won't be obvious, but look for the little signs...

Just sit by her and gauge her reaction, if she kinda leans away she may be uncomfortable, in which case you make an excuse to go to the kitchen and then switch seats. Ask her to come sit by you, it will show that you are thinking of her and she will probably appreciate it. Sit down first and then if she sits down somewhere else make a joke "I don't bite'' or some corny **** like that

Just sit next to her in any of the couches if you need help with courage have a drink, WAKE UP she coming over your house

I would try to sit down first so it forces her to pick where to sit and that will tell you lots. If she's asking you to come over, my best bet is she'll be sitting next to you. I would go for the couch as it will give you more room to be together.

I think it would be appropriate to sit next to her. It would definately be a good step. Just because you are sitting next to her does not mean you are trying to get her into the sack. She wanted to come to your home to watch the show so she is obviously interested in you and it may make her feel good that you want to sit with her...go for it!

Think of it like a movie theater. She sits down first. Sure, there are hundreds of other empty seats, but what is natural for you to do? You sit next to her. If she makes a deal about it, maybe she isn't someone you want to get serious with. After all, if she is attracted to you (I assume that's why you're dating), she wants to be close to you! And if you want to be close to her, why not? Go man, go!

Sit on whatever sofa she sits on if its the one with the best viewing angle, if that makes any sense, or just sit on the same one and see if she is comfortable with that.

If you like her and think your ready to make a move then I suggest you sit beside her. But only if your ready.
I think it would be more awkward if you didn't sit with her if she likes you, it might make her think you don't like her as much.
