Hot-Oil Treatment

To make a hot-oil treatment for dry hair, place 1/4 cup of canola oil in a glass measuring cup. Place the cup in a bowl of hot water, and allow the oil to warm. Canola oil is a good choice because it contains no added ingredients or fragrances.

I can not use hot oil on my hair it tends to make it too greasy and limp, so what I do is use conditoner and place a plastic bag over my hair and then a towel and let sit for 30 minutes and rinse. Or I use Mane 'N Tail Olive Oil or Carrot Oil Cream and do the bag and towel thing, It works very well for my hair type.

warm some olive oil in the microwave... don't overheat or you'll burn your scalp. then comb thru hair, wrap with a plastic bag and leave on for 20-30 minutes.

mayo or smashed bananas are also good hair masks for dry hair.
