A buddy and I were talking and I saw that he was holding his girlfriends hand but he was holding it underneath her hand. I told him later that men are supposed to be in the dominant position when holding a woman's hand which means his hand should be over hers, not under. He said it didn't matter to him. I told my friend it should and that his girlfriend is going to think he is a wimp. Am I wrong here?

This is funny, my fiance and I talk about this too. I think the man's arm should be in front. He is suppose to lead. But my fiance says that he like to feel my arm that's why he likes to hold my hand behind. But I prefer it in front, as a woman.

in a relationship...it's 50/50...and holding hands is holding hands...the feelings aren't any different if your hand is on top or bottom...
I've been married to my husband almost 4 yrs and we've been holding hands since day one...just a wonderful feeling to have!

I didnt think there was a proper way to hold somebodys hand, I think it is all about comfort.

holding hands is holding hands buddy doesnt mean whos dominante or what your holding hands as long as u hold eachothers hand it dont matter
