My dog does the same thing-pitbull dalmatian mix and it drives me nuts. In fact the UPS man came to the door and she was barking and got out and went up to him and started licking him and wagging her tail. I think that THEY think they are protecting their territory. When I take my dog for a walk and another dog barks at her, she ignores it and won't bark back. If you walk around your neighborhood, almost all dogs bark at you from inside the house. Just sympathizing with ya-no good answer!

i in my opinion dont think of there is something which you're able to do. Im not suggesting it as an decision yet i be attentive to some people who've taken this barking undertaking heavily and you may get those marvel collars that unquestionably have a distant related to them. they're for training. yet i be attentive to the use as whilst the dogs barks or jumps on human beings whilst they walk in, the vendors marvel the collar and the dogs learns that the habit is undesirable. earlier it shocks it sends a tone that basically canines can hear as like a warning. yet in my opinion i think of they're only propose. they're canines for christ sake. Its like of their nature....you desire a quiet animal, purchase a cat or a snake!

They have collars you can buy to help train them to stop barking.
How old are they? I think if they are older dogs it might be hard.
Not sure about obendence school that might help.
Do you really want them to totally stop barking? Mine bark with someone new. I kind of like that.

I have heard this question over and over about owners that want to muzzle their dogs. I want you to take some masking tape and put it over your own mouth and see how you like it. A dog has vocal chords just like you do and need to exercise them. If it is such a problem then move them to a garage or a back room.
