Why do some women disapprove of my situation?

I am 34 and still live at home. I have everything I need here and have a ton of money saved up due to not having to pay rent or mortgage. I have a nice car that is paid off and a decent job. The only obligations I have is a cell phone bill and medical insurance. And dog gone it... people like me! Why do some women frown upon this?

I had to move in to my parents after my break up with my ex. My ex thought that was stupid. But I had lost my job and my friends were already pissed at me. Women want too much sometimes, and so do we. A woman would want you to like her just the way she was whether she was living with her parents or not at 34. And believe me, there are women out there who do that. My mom had to move in with my grandfather after a divorce. Women want a confident man who can take care of them. But what's the point in trying to be something your not. She should love you for who you are. Isn't that what a woman would say to another woman. He should love you for who you are. Why should it be any different for men? I'm sorry ladies, that's just how I feel.

Because at 34 years of age, you shouldn't be living off your parents any longer. That is exactly what you are doing. Your parents are paying the mortgage, the home phone bill, the water bill, the electric bill, the cable and the groceries. Do your parents have a decent car that is paid off? If not, could they afford one after paying to keep you up?

Big deal you have a cell phone bill and medical insurance, why don't you contribute to ALL the household expenses? Do you shower? Do you do laundry? Do you have electricity? Do you watch TV or listen to the radio? Do you cook? Do you eat? Do you drink water, milk or soda?

Who pays for all of those luxuries if not you? Who pays your car insurance?

Grow up and spread your wings. Stop being a mooch. Instead of bragging about how you are taking advantage of your parents, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Because they are ignorant! Most guys cant wait to get out on their own,and get their own place. Some people think that anyone that is still comfortable at home with their parents is old fashioned or 'un-cool'.To any woman worth a second thought a man being close to his folks,unconcerned with having a cool bachelors pad,and practical about money is a good thing. Heads up !--you are just what an awful lot of women are looking for.

I'm 34, I live in my own house that I bought when I was 26. I have my own business and I work out of my Home Office. I have money and I have a dog, seven fish in one tank, and may be inheriting a cat...from my mother-in-love. That's right, I'm also MARRIED!! What woman in her right mind wants to be involved with a man who doesn't have a place of his own? You may not have debt which is a good thing, but from their perspective, if you're not willing to invest in your own house, you might be a very cheap person. Especially if they have one of their own. Even though women may have just met you, they're looking way down the road for a potential soulmate. If they were to get with you, they're already seeing the competition they would have to go thru dealing with your mom. It would be MOM'S house, not BOTH you guys. This isn't fair to them and so they choose not to deal with mama drama by not dealing with you. Got it??

because it does not show women how independant you are, they see that you are living off you parents and so you dont have much responsability. women like to see that a man can hold his own, wich means a woman would rather have a guy that does not have alot of money, but that can still hold a job and support himself with food, clothing , cars, apartment to live in. if you mooching of your parents its not what women want! maybe its ok if your in your younger 20's but not at your age, you should have a good reliable job, apartment, and be a reliabel person all together. other wise how is a woman to know if your right for them when you dont realy have any responsabilities?

If you a ever meet a women who, is a man moocher herself, then perhaps you would have it made. But most women would prefer a man who is independant and has his they would work towards something together.

On the other hand, you are showing complete selfishness and a disreguard for your parents wanting time for themselves, you know, they now want to walk around they house naked and do the wild thing, you know, they want to get to know each other again, like it was before you came along.

I'm sure if they knew what they know now, the would have used condoms.

because you need to stop living off your parents. your situation would still be pretty lame even if you were paying rent, but the fact that you're not makes it even worse! by the time people are your age (even younger, for that matter) they need more privacy than living under their parents' roof can give them. why would a woman want to come home with you only to worry about having to be quiet at night so your mom doesn't hear you? grow up dude.

because grown men are suppose to live on there own. your parents need to kick you out or make you start paying rent. owning your own home is the biggest asset a man can have. you are in limbo. grow up and get on the road to maturity. that is what woman want. not a 34 year old boy acting like he is 18.

because a gay that is 34 years old and still live with his parents is a TURN OFF!! the fact that you live with your parents make you seem like a total looser, get an apartment and move out! if you have a decent job then get a decent place to live.

Would you be more interested in a 34-year-old woman who had a home/apartment of her own (albeit a little bit of debt) or a 34-year-old woman with no debt who lived with her parents? Why?
