why is it that men always go for younger women, whereas women seem to be happy with men older than themselves?

allot of it is our biological programing. men tend to be attracted most to young women because they tend to be the most likely to bear healthy children, while women tend to be atracted to a man who can be a provider and a protector, which would typically be an older man. this is of course simplistic and generalized, and everyone is different, but that is somthing of a pattern

In my opinion, women like older men, because we mature faster than men. So if we get a guy 4 or 5 years older than us, hopefully we are on the same maturity level. I think it';s about the same with guys. They want someone they can have fun with and play around with. If they get a woman their own age, the woman will tend to be more serious.

That's the reason younger women sometimes go for older men; he's more established financially and MAYBE mentally/emotionally; let's not forget experienced. Let's face it, time ain't a woman's best friend...well, for some of us. I think it's a shame that older men go for younger women, but biologically speaking, if he's in it for offspring, an older woman can't give him that...and younger women are just that: YOUNG!

Men go for the visual and the ego stroke..they also mature slower so a younger womans on their level..Women want maturity and experience more often. That said.. there are more women that are realizing that younger guys can bring a lil somthin to the table too..

a man like to have a younger girl cuz he feels like he can control her and of course women are very smart and mature and when your a little younger men in your age rank are very immature. so we tend to go for the older guys who are on our level. but men loveto have some young thang to tell what to do but watch out ! young girls are getting smart too!
