Bible prophecies indicate that world religion, described as “Babylon the Great,” will suddenly be attacked by earthly political powers and will come to an abrupt end
(Revelation 17:5, 16; & 18:10, 17)
This will mark the beginning of a “great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now.”
(Matthew 24:21)

"Babylon the great" is the world empire of false religion, embracing all religions whose teachings and practices do not conform to the true worship of the only true God.
Following the Flood of Noah’s day, false religion had its beginning at Babel (later known as Babylon). (GENESIS. 10:8-10; & 11:4-9) In time, Babylonish religious beliefs and practices spread to many lands. So Babylon the Great became a fitting name for false religion as a whole.

Hello Ash,

I don't think it will be the united nations. But i do think another organisation will eventually and soon dominate our society. Our freedoms have all ready started to diminish with massive changes collectively in laws. I reckon once we have to have identity cards in Britain, control will be rapid.

You people who want to Ban things in these answers, just remember you said that when your lives are so restricted that your worried what your children will say at school. perhaps what happend to the Jews in Germany could happen again?

Dude, you can't ban religion. Remember what happened when the Communists tried to do that. The religious people went underground, and still performed their religious ceremonies. Do not worry though, religion will fade away in time. Not in our lifetime though *sigh*

Now, I don't think our American brothers would allow that, do you?

Perhaps there is just ONE organised religion we could ban. Why don't we ask George W for his educated opinion?

According to Jehovah's Witnesses, God was going to destroy organized religion back in 1918. (The Finished Mystery, page 485, published in 1917)

Also according to Jehovah's Witnesses in the book "The Nations Shall Know that I am Jehovah" page 216, published in 1971, Armageddon was going to begin against Christendom "within our twentieth century".

The moral of the story is this: Jehovah's Witnesses have a lot of knowledge, but it appears to be knowledge "falsely called"

2 weeks. I wish. Soon, I hope. Private religion should be allowed, but using it to create war, etc, should be banned.

I don't think they will need to.

Religious extremists of all sorts are behaving so badly that people moving away from religion are going to gradually outnumber the people that remain religious.
