wiccans once more?

Question

if there are good people and bad people wouldn't you concider there are good wiccans and bad wiccans? some don't care about rules and that sort of thing so they do what they want when they want to get what they want. this extreamely angers me because we try so hard to show we are not evil and then someone comes and messes it up. we are not evil just the people who practice evil type magick are evil. pls get this straight because i don't like being persecuted by some high christian conformist that thinks he knows everything. and when you jump to concluesions it is not us who should be persecuted it should be you. who is to say we are wrong and your right. you should just be comfortable with the fact we have found peace and that not all of us are evil. thanks for listening. I'm more concerned about what people do then what they say or the label they wear.

I believe there is good and bed in everyone. My best friend is WIccan - she came over this last weekend and four of us had a great time. I was all proud of a book I recently got that had been published in the early 1960's. She said the book was evil. It has all kinds of incantations and spells she feels are evil. It actually has spells for harming others, even spells to cause death! SHe was relaly ticked off and wanted me to get rid of the book because she is afraid I will use it at some point. I am not trained so I would never cast, I just enjoy reading it and seeing what it has to say!

As in every faith there are good and bad people. it just seems like people judge by that which is more often heard of and seen, which is usally the bad ones. These few who are bad spoil it for the rest of the community who do not cause trouble or gossip. As for the many Wiccans I know one who does evil malisious things, ( I belive he has some serious mental issues) but about a dozen who are peacefull.

What do you define as good and bad...and if someone considers themself Wiccan, but other people consider them to be a 'bad' Wiccan, are they really Wiccan? Hmm.

I think that your views are echoed by a lot of Wiccans, myself included. Just do the best you can--remember that predjudice is ignorance, and our job is to educate people that Wiccans are not evil, just like Muslims are not evil, and Christians are not evil.

Christians are going to think that your religion is evil no matter how decent a person you actually are. Just accept it. They don't even think Buddhists or even Catholics are decent people. They believe that ALL OTHER faiths are Wrong, Evil, and Paths to Damnation. Please, learn to not let it bug you. I know you want to justify yourself to them, but it's a waste of your time and effort. As long as you know you are a good and decent, moral person that's all that's important. Not the opinions of cultists with extremist views. I know that they are the mainstream and you don't want to be pigeon-holed into some 'weirdo minority' catagory, but they will never accept you or your views unless you convert to their religion.

People are just uncomfortable about wiccans because they are not educated about your beliefs. You don't have the problem they do!

Please stop worrying about the Christians.

You have to live with yourself, not with them.

Be happy in your religion and Your way of life, and you will be an example to many unhappy Christians.

I disagree with your premise. I believe all people are inherently evil. We were born with a Sin nature. It is only through God's grace that we can become "good".
