Ignore them then retire to the comfort and company of your harem of which they are just jealous.....

Ignore them. I have been told that, too by people and the questions were unrelated to Christianity! If they write me personally and say that I usually tell them I have read several versions of the Bible, which one would they like me to quote from to get them answer my question. (I even own a Bible in French, German, and Hebrewas well as several version in English...then again I own other sacred texts with several translations as well...I enjoy reading sacred/ancient texts).

Tell them that you have already read it, and are having trouble reconciling what you have read to the question at hand. If that doesn't help, then ask them politely to stop insulting your intelligence by assuming you are ignorant of the subject.
Everybody needs help with something now and again.

Tell them to read The Book of Mormon, Torah, Quran, Upanishads, Vedas, Bhagivadgita, Ramayana, Tao Te Ching, Analects of Confucius, Sutras, Eddas, etc. to learn about other world religions and see that theirs isn't the only one! You might also send over a Jehovah's Witness to talk to them.

Ask them to read a book on manners before they start flaunting their bad ones.

Why not read the Iliad before you ask your next question. That'll show 'em.

If you have genuine serious questions, this probably is not the place to get real answers. Sit down with someone face to face.

Don't worry, be happy.
Just ignore them, they are very selective in what they quote and what they don't like to be quoted.
No way to treat the supposed word of god, if you ask me.

Anyone can "read" something but to "understand" what you are reading is two different things.
