Hey xsandybre...,

I think you really want to find a person, not perform Genealogy research. The principles are similar, except you are looking for a living person. Here are some sites you can try. Many of them are free. If the person, Jack, has his number unlisted, you may need to pay for information.

I searched the yahoo white pages, and it says they have no information, but the INTELIUS.COM has:

JACK DRYE
PHOENIX, AZ age 38

IF this is him, then Phoenix is the City, and his age is 38. You can pay Intellius for the information if you want. I would exhaust the other sites first.

Switchboard.com says:
Jack DRYE - New Unlisted Number and Address Available
Public Records Jack DRYE includes Age, Date of Birth and Family Members

Have you tried your local American Legion organization or Veterans of Foreign Wars? Both organizations may be able to help you and your friend out. If they can't directly help you they may be able to point you in the right direction. Also try your local Department of Veteran's Affairs office.A lot of times they have people who can help with this type of inquiry.
Also you might want to looking into groups at yahoo dealing with Vietnam, veterans, etc.
Hope this helps you in some way.

How about a web site of questions for Vietnam vets. You can post questions.

Sorry, I don't know, but you could try geneology.com or just search his name in Google (I'm assuming you've already done the latter).
