I agree with what a lot of people are saying. You feelings seem pretty logical and I bet one of them is that you dont want anyone you might know see you at the adult theater, which is understandable. I also agree with the above if the thrill of putting on a show is the turn on then there are a lot cleaner and less creepy places to do that. Just tell him how you feel.

I didn't even know they still had adult theaters. I thought those died in the 70's. I'm not sure what the appeal is, but why not just bring the adult theater home? Buy/rent a couple of porn flics, light a fire, get some edible massage oil and lube... rose peddles even. That sounds more fun to me. Private time to get freaky with your one and only. :)

I think it's a sleazy place. Even for creepy men, it's sleazy.
I would never take a woman there (even if she was on the clock).
It's basically a place where men openly whank - they either pair up or give others a show. I think he wants you and/or himself to give a show.
Ask him if that's what he wants out of it - then tell him there are better places to do that (if you want to give a show too). I mean, hell - you can do crazy sh!t at the MALL if you wanted to. My Wife and I went to Fredericks of Hollywood, and she asked the girls to dress me up all sexy like.
I was cool with it. My masculinity isn't threatened.

It sounds like your boyfriend has a problem. You haven't provided much info but it sounds like this is his idea and not yours. If he is addicted to this stuff there isn't too much you can do. That "adult entertainment" will continue to warp his view of women and healthy sexual relationships to the point that, no matter how he feels about you, he will start to treat you awful. I would drop him and find a normal guy.

if you are not comfortable than you are not going to enjoy yourself! Isnt that the point for both of you to enjoy yourselves! Talk to your man and tell him that you are not comfortable that close to home and he should understand!
