I heard you found a new religion, that's got nothing to do with God. They're politically correct, a liberated little sect, a self appointed tollerance squad. You say that you've been enlightened, and the problem lies with people like me. You say that you're tollerant and open minded, well here's your chance to prove it to me. Tollerate this; I believe in marriage between a woman and a man, I believe in driving the biggest car I can, a good old fashioned spanking is necessary not cruel. You're preaching tollerance to me while you're standing there shaking your fist? Tollerate this; you claim to be so accepting, but all you do is yell at people like me, up in my face, invading my space, telling me what I should believe. And when it comes to religion, Christianity tops your hit list. You say you're tollerant, well here's your chance to put your money where your mouth is. Tollerate this; I believe in Jesus, and prayer in public shcool. I believe that evolution makes a monkey out of you. I don't believe in separation of church and state. Tollerate this; I own a Smith and Wesson and a shotgun too, I think the founding fathers wouldn't have tolerated you. I think that global warming is just a bunch of crap. Take a look in the mirror next time you're pitching a fit and tollerate this.

These are the words to a song by a new group called the 'Right Brothers' I tend to agree that this is deliberately written to incense the ire of the liberals, but their points hit the mark with the conservative crowd. I can go into the details of why I believe all these things are important to the success and security of our nation, but this is not the forum to present them all.

Gosh, I love it when people deliberately use "tolerance" to mean something that it doesn't.

I'm with Tofu Jesus, take a chill pill man. No human being has the market cornered on Absolute Truth, not even you. I know, we are all a bit edgy these days, Hey, isn't a smith and wesson a shotgun, or is that a rifle? What's the difference? Anywhoo, I digress...I know we are all a bit edgy these days, but we are all in this together. We all find each other quite annoying at times, but that's the price we have to pay to live in a country where everyone has the right to their beliefs, and the right to express them. Can you handle it that I agree with some of what you just said, and disagree with some other things you just said? I hope so, cause you scare me, waving that gun around and calling me a monkey...just kidding. Don't worry so much. Everything will be allright.

Better than believing in make-believe gods. I'm an atheist and a liberal, but I hate political correctness, which is as much a conservative disease as a liberal one. I don't care what you think about marriage. Just let others do as they believe about marriage. Drive what you want. Raise your kids as you will, just don't abuse them. Spanking is sometimes necessary, IMO. Religious indoctrination is much more harmful than a simple spanking. A Minnesota study recently showed that atheists are the most tolerant of other religions while being the least tolerated, so don't put me in the same category as the religious bigots. I don't care if you believe in Jesus. I don't care if you pray in school. Just don't use my money to make my kids pray. If you can't accept the fact of evolution, that's your own issue. The vast majority of scientists disagree with you, and I'd trust them much more than your feeble opinion. And that's too bad that you don't believe in the separation of church and state. Are you a member of the Church of England? You would be without it. I've owned a Rugar 9mm. And if you want to know what the founding fathers would tolerate, try reading Madison's Memorial and Remonstrance. I think that global warming is a dangerous trend that should be investigated. Whether it is cyclical or not, I think the effects of humans on the Earth is going to come to a head eventually. We should be careful, or we might be extinct.
You don't seem like a very tolerant person.

You are under the mistaken idea that liberals are all unified. That's far from the case. You assume a level of organization that doesn't exist. It's hard to get free thinkers to come together and work together. It is much easier to lead a flock of followers, like the religious right, like the Neocons are doing.

So tolerance includes being tolerant of wastefulness, greed, anger, physical violence, intolerance, and ignorance... harmful things in general? Is that your position?
Your argument is tantamount to me saying that you should be tolerant of my right to kick you in the balls every Thursday at 3pm.*
*i'm not threatening physical harm or displaying hatred or anger... i'm posing a hypothetical to make a point... don't jump to conclusions.

All we want is for you to keep it to yourself.
Stop influencing the government, and creating laws that affect everyones lives in a way that's only good for you.
Don't mistake trying to educate as yelling in your face. Though I can see why yelling would ensue.... you try educating the uneducatable.
