That is meant in the biological sense. Just b/c a woman is gay doesnt mean she doesnt have the same internal workings as a straight woman. Sperm banks offer their services to all people. Gay men can also be the parents to a child as well. In most states it is incredibly hard for gay couples to adopt so most gay people either birth the child themselves, or men find a woman willing to carry a child for them.............But really........back to the orginal question..........Why is that?

some small minded prejudiced people cant see any bigger picture than 2 same sex=0 kids. i think most people arent that way, but alot of it depends on age, geographical location, the way prejudices are passed down from parent to child. just think: if you meet someone who didn't think that was possible, youll have taught them something new!

ok, well my husband and i were talking about that the other night when we were watchng this show where two men that were partners decided to get a serogate mother carry an egg for each of them and had one guys sperm implanted in one and the other guys sperm put into her other egg, so they had twins and each of the guy has a kid. it was cool i thought, but what my husband and i were saying is that its hard to see gays have children cause we are christians and in our religion its wrong, and it makes for a higher percentage for those kids to grow up gay too. but on the other hand most gay men we feel take better care of kids then most women do these days, not all women but lots of them. gay men seem to take more pride and realy do a great job. so realy we are not against gay couples haveing children ,but it is hard for us to see it cause we dont believe in being with anyone other than the oposite sex.

Because a child needs a Mother and a Father. let me clarify- a mother who is a woman and a father who is a man. This is what a child needs for proper development. A child should not be adopted to a single person either, except in rare cases when a single person is the only family available.

I don't know of anyone who says that they are incapible of having children, but if someone is strictly gay, and they don't go to any extrodinary means, like a surogate mother or a sperm bank, to get a child, then they clearly won't have children, thats just biological fact.

Its hard being a child in todays schools without having two parents of the same sex and going thru that in school and it would be selfish of you or any gay couple to put kids thru that crap do whatever with your life NOT A CHILDS

People think that way because most parents raise their children to believe in opposite sex marriage. I think that a same sex couple has the same chance of raising a family.

If the child turns out to be straight (more likely than not) he or she wont want to have a pole smoker for a dad or a carpet muncher for a mom....TH ATS WHY !!!!!
