I doubt that anyone will know that.
Commercial flights - possibly, but there will be hundreds of military ones (top secret), plus private ones e.g. pleasure rides for 20 minute fly-by's, and heaven knows how many remote control ones. (Some of these will be military as well - especially in Isreal)

Too many. But I don't fancy standing in a field counting every single plane which flies over my head... plus I'd look like a lunatic.

I don't think you could find the answer, but as 4 the number of airports tis there in wikipedia.

over 5000,try looking at janes the airplane information people`s site ,google it ,more to the point how many chemtrails are left by unmarked planes?

Damn near impossible to tell. Might try asking any ATC controllers (if there are any) here, but the response might be: "More than I care to know."
