My husband has a fuse problem with his car. Every time he turns left and accelerates his fuse pops (the fip fuse). His blinkers have been acting like they don't come on, and his lights are also dimming. He has a problem with the radio.
He thought it was possibly a short in a wire, so he has taken the dash apart and been trying to find a short...there doesn't seem to be any.
Could this be a ground wire problem? Or something else? Any ideas would be helpful!

It was an after market radio, however, he has installed tons of these. He doesn't seem to think it's the problem. Also, he took the radio back out, and still had the fuse popping on him.....

You may have a wire shorting in your steering column. Play with the tilt steering and see if the problem goes away with the steering wheel in a different position. If it does then you know where the problem is. Get someone qualified to repair it..Don't do it yourself because you may not take the right steps and accidentally deploy the air bag which is very dangerous.
The fip fuse Should be the fuel injection pump fuse. It may or may not be related to your problem but the fuel filter may be clogged and when he accelerates the fuel pump is trying to force fuel through the restricted filter making the fuel pump over load and is popping the fuse.Try a new fuel filter. It wouldn't hurt and is usually cheap to replace
